Now I’m back from Tokyo, Japan and I’m still dead tired and also got myself a cold. I would have slept all day if mom hadn’t called and woken me.
But what amazing country Japan is, and I’m really satisfied and happy about the trip. Everythings so small and they definitely know that “compact living” is all about. There so polite and nice, but what I didn’t expect was that they don’t speak any English. And I had a little problem with all the, for me, strange food.
We lived in a area in Tokyo called Shibuya, a huge shopping area. But we also visited Akihabara, a district thats famous for all the electronic stores that offers discount prices on all kinds of goods. And of cause did they have new models that haven’t been released over here yet. Unfortunately didn’t we have time to explore this area more than just a couple of hours. That goes for all of Tokyo. It felt unbelievable that the city is the capitol of such a small country.
Almost every night something happened that dad and his colleagues had plant. Sahara Hotnights, Last day of april, Maia Hirasawa and Pernilla Andersson played at those events. One night dad, sister Sabina and myself went out to a really nice restaurant in a enormous hotel form were we could see a big part of Tokyo, but far from all of the city.
One of the coolest experiences was the Tower Records and HMW, the 2 biggest record stores. We could be there for hours and find all kinds of records, from underground to Swedish big acts like the Hives and José Gonzales. And I bought an awesome Kingdom Heart soundtrack box. And you could find a kinds of special special edition record boxes.

It feels nice to be back in Sweden now and gonna continue to look for a job. The only thing I’ve done today is going in to town and picked up the Half Life 2: Orange box and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. And I also have time now to write even more on the blog!
